Beach texture without the beach

TEXTURE is the three-product Kevin.Murphy range that recreates the look of hair after a day by the sea: a lotion, a spray and a dry shampoo. It is the styling result that matters here — volume, movable texture, defined pieces. These are not sea salt products by composition; the marine link is different: brown seaweed extracts Laminaria Digitata and Pelvetia Canaliculata in the Hair.Resort lotion.

The products

• Hair.Resort Beach Texturiser and Curl Enhancer, 150ml — a 2-in-1 texturising and finishing lotion. It works in seconds, giving volume and surfer texture with long-lasting, maximum hold, and enhances curls. Grapefruit Extract, seaweed extracts, Ascorbic Acid and Tocopheryl Acetate as antioxidants, plus Glycerin to hold moisture. For all hair types.
• Hair.Resort Texturizer Spray — a non-aerosol beach spray with soft, natural hold that never weighs hair down. Wheat Amino Acids nourish and hydrate, Hydrolyzed Silk gives silky smoothness and easy combing, and Mandarin Oil adds shine and protection. Ideal for fine and long hair.
• Fresh.Hair — dry shampoo that instantly refreshes the hair, neutralises odours and removes excess dirt, oil and styling residue without washing, while adding volume to fine, limp hair. With orange and tangerine peel oils. For all hair types.

Lotion or spray

The difference is in the hold and the hair type. The Hair.Resort lotion gives long-lasting, maximum hold, suits all hair types and enhances curls. Among texture sprays, Hair.Resort.Spray is the softer option: natural hold with no weight, and the brand calls it ideal for fine and long hair. Both are stated as sulfate-free, paraben-free and not tested on animals, as is Fresh.Hair.

How to combine them

The Hair.Resort lotion goes on damp or dry hair: scrunch it in, texturise the pieces and finish the style. The Hair.Resort.Spray is misted onto slightly towel-dried hair. Fresh.Hair works outside the wash routine: shake well, spray onto dry hair and the roots, comb through and refresh the style. The lotion and the spray build the texture, while the dry shampoo refreshes the hair and brings back volume between washes.
